Renovated in 1991, the Carthage golf course is the old in Tunisia. Small golf course of 18 wholes (par 66) and 4524 m, designed by the French architect Yves BUREAU, a bit short, by extremely technical.
No hidden pitfalls, no blind wholes, however, it requires a subtly strategic play. All wholes are separated by sumptuous hundred years old Eucalyptus trees. Located at eight minutes away from the Tunis Carthage airport, and 10 minutes away from the capital. Possibility of equipment rental.
Designed by Ronald Fream in the heart of the Arab Moorish style pleasant station, close to the Marina, the two «championships», the « Sea Course » (par 72) of 6253 m, and the « Panorama Course », wind from the sea to the top of hills, with magnificent panoramas over the bay of Sousse. Several water obstacles, unbelievable bunkers and tortuous fairways have been set on this golf course classified as « environment friendly» for the richness of its fauna and flora. Old wells, ancestral irrigation canals, lakes and fountains embellish the site punctuated with olive trees, pomegranate trees and hundred years old palm trees.
18-whole championship course (par 72) of 6140 m, located on a natural land of dunes and palm trees, associated to a golf school of 9 wholes par 27. The five launching sites by whole, its 3 training wholes and its practice still allowing it to accommodate different levels of playing. Designed by the Californian architect Fream, the « Flamingo Golf Course » combines the very high technicality of the main international courses to a surprising layout, taking advantage with genius of a tormented and green scenery, one of the most sumptuous in North Africa.
Half way between Sousse and Monastir, the » Palm Links » lays on a natural land of dunes and palm trees bordering the Mediterranean. With its various playing options, all categories of golfers can practise it according to their level. 18-whole championship (par 72) of 6076 m, it presents a delicate layout and offers everyone a worthy challenge. The 9-whole school (par 27) of 865 m, is dedicated to the initiation of beginners. The golf academy and its equipments, driving-range, putting-green, pitching-green, practice bunkers and video room offer the best surroundings for trainings and lessons. A superb club-house invites you to sample a Mediterranean cuisine on its large panoramic terraces.
Real championship course, inaugurated in 1991, (par 72) of 6062 m and designed by the Californian architect Ronald Fream, this golf course has a unique style is characterised by large launching platforms, eccentric shape bunkers, and a clever use of water obstacles. Benefiting from modern construction techniques, the course is maintained in the best conditions the whole year around. The location of bunkers, the design of greens and the undulation of their perimeter add to the obstacles that golfers must bypass.
First 45 whole complex in Tunisia, it has been designed around six lakes in a space of 173 ha, only a few minutes away from the bay of Hammamet. The layout of Ronald Fream takes advantage of the natural characteristics of a slightly undulating olive grove and the steep hills of the forest.
Two 18-whole championship (par 72), « Les Oliviers » of 6106 m, technical and varied course, with long fairways, quite large, but windy, with numerous bunkers, and « La Forêt » of 6066 m, with wholes between scrubs or curtains of trees, and lakes, sometimes difficult, namely at the 18th, where you must cross the water. A training and improvement space of 15 ha offers various playing conditions.
Executed by Ronald Fream, it is located in a space of 118 ha of eucalyptus tree forest, Alep pine trees and oak trees, 18 wholes (par 72), (planned extension to 27 wholes) and is perfectly integrated in the green panorama.
One of the rare courses in the world with 7 wholes by the sea (the course even crosses arms of the sea). It resembles the Cypress Point Club in California. An original course seducing seasoned golfers.
Designed by the English architect Martin Hawtree, the Jerba Golf Club smartly combines three courses of 9 wholes,« Les PALMIERS » (par 37) of 3056 m; « LA MER » ( par 36) of 3130m, and « LES ACACIAS »
(par 36) of 2722m, thus enabling golfers of all levels to play everyday a different course : fine strategist, they negotiate bunkers, sand dunes and water stretches, in a pleasant profusion of palm trees planted by the sea shore.
An 18-whole course (extension planned to 36 wholes) of international class, designed by Ronald Fream, and surrounded by palm trees to better merge in its environment. The Golf Oasis faces the famous palm grove of Tozeur, one of the most beautiful areas of Tunisia and comprising over a million palm trees. Its 25 hectares of grass are watered with recycled water to preserve the water table, and the obstacles formed by walls of rocks spice the game.
